Currently I just have a Qwest modem doing its thing not even bridge into a linksys wrt54gs running tomato. The new wrt54gl will also run tomato firmware. the tomato firmware is setup to keep dyn dns working for me. Thus I can run servers.
Not true or accurate. There are plenty of ADSL2+ Router/Modems that are very flexible. Two such examples are below.
