| Grande throttling traffic to Rapidshare and Megaupload Are there any Grande customers in Texas experiencing problems downloading files from or connecting to rapidshare.com and/or megaupload.com? I have had extensive trouble doing so for the past 3 months. They claim they are not to blame, but when using any other ISP, I have zero problems. I have been using a proxy lately, and that solves the problem. However, I should not have to pay for a proxy when I am paying for internet service from Grande! I have filed a complaint with the FCC but I have not heard anything from them yet. Please post a reply if you are having the same problem so I know that I am not the only one! Thanks. |

1 edit | I dont know about those sites as i dont use them, but i have definitley noticed CONSTANT connection interruptions. I use to have great speeds down and up. Then my upstream began to disconnect now even my DLs suck. After upgrading to their cheetah plan last summer I have almost zero speeds. Even my Xbox360 LIVE connections really suck ass. Streaming video feels like dial-up speeds. so much for the fastest speeds in town. we are paying more money for less service. Grande really has gone down hill over the years.
Also, i recently read that certain ISPs are definitley blocking netwrorks such as Lamewire and Azurues/Vuze.
AND i have been running several speed tests in more recent days and dont even get 5Mb DL when i am suppose to get 12Mb???? |
