Re: [360] what to do with RRoD 360? said by Van:Sell on EBay telling people it has the RROD Some will buy it and fix it themselves Why would anyone want to? Just for the sake of argument... if it has crapped out before(maybe more than once w/previous owner) why would you waste any money buying a bricked console? It's not like 360's are even that expensive anymore.
And even if you did fix it with new parts, you would probably spend close to enough money to buy a brand new one anyways. If you did replace the CPU it would eventually RRoD again a year later due to the other faulty 1-3 gen components/engineering. Buying a bricked console on Ebay is absolutely retarded. It's just not even worth it.
You might as well purchase a new 360 with updated components. |

Sell it and get some money
Friends have done this and gotten some extra $$$ to go towards a new 360 |

Create a piece of junk product that they no longer repair for free and charge up the a*s for it. While at the same time selling new consoles to the suckers who are too naive to realize that the product is garbage. Everyone just keeps coming back for me.
Cheat me once, shame on you. Cheat me twice, shame on me. Cheat me three times, and I'll still continue to buy your product and be a sucker
The units sold by Microsoft is pretty damn skewed since it doesn't account for multiple purchases by the same consumer due to a faulty product. |

If he can sell it and get some poor sap out there to buy it then more power to him. |

I believe some are bought by modders-so if they get caught and it gets banned they aren't out too much money. |

Frankly, this just tells me that despite the "garbage" console - people are willing to put up with that for the 360 experience rather than go with another more reliable system. That actually speaks volumes about the other systems, if you ask me. |
