[Speed] Routing from DC to Atlanta back to DC???Being seeing latency today when trying to access something that was local, 50 miles away. Before it was 4 maybe 5 hops, all on Comcast backbone Ashburn, VA. Today the backbone traffic is routing through NC and GA before heading back to Ashburn, VA.
Is there an outage in VA causing the traffic reroute? |

We can't see what you are seeing. You need to post routes that show what you are seeing. And what destinations you are seeing this happening. |

Sorry, was tied up last night.
The routing has been restored.
Not sure what was going on last night but everything is normalized on the backbone routing. |

Glitches happen. It could have been a router that went bad and was being routed around. The router could have been reset and it can sometimes take awhile for it to optimize it's table of routes. |
