Re: Need to bridge Westell 9100VM for use as modem only

This has got to be the simplest most effective way of bridging the Westell Ultraline Series 3 with another router.
»Re: How do I turn my Verizon 9100EM Router into a "Bridge" ?
That post simply put the user router in the DMZ of the 9100. The user router is still secondary. i.e. The Westell still obtains the WAN DHCP lease. Most users that want to "bridge" the Westell want to do so because theier WAN connection is over coax to the ONT, but want their router as primary.

Placing a user router in the DMZ is option #2 in this FAQ:
»Verizon Online FiOS FAQ »What are the tradeoffs between the various router configurations
and is documented to work with the Westell (does not distinguish between the EM and VM) per the grid at the top. The other options, except option #5, also work with the Westell.
