Re: need a hero said by Linklist:Why hasn't the state filed an involuntary commitment order on this guy and given him his day in court before locking him away in a mental hospital for the rest of his life? All those cases just clogging up the civil courts. Getting someone committed isn't as easy as it used to be. You have to prove that they are a danger to themselves or others. Being, or pretending to be, crazy as a loon won't cut it anymore unless you might possibly hurt yourself or someone else. |
