No Teleblend Inbound since mid-October

I've been reading the posts concerning Teleblend inbound issues and have the same problem.

Outbound caller id shows my home number. Inbound callers get 'number de-activated' message.

I submitted a trouble ticket on 10/24/09. They gave me a temporary number for inbound calls and I got a $3.88 credit for the inconvienience. No resolution so far.

Tnid.org shows my current telephone company is CenturyTel.

Is there a particular reason that you're still with Teleblend?

Only because I wanted to keep the number that I've had for last 10 years. It won't port due to the deactivated status.

I hate to say this, but after 2.5 months it does not look good.

"Deactivated status" to me sounds like TB did not pay their CLEC !!

If there is another explanation for being out for 2.5 months, I would sure like to hear it.

Who did you try in terms of porting?

I tried to port to ITP.

I would strongly suggest that you try CallCentric or FutureNine.

Yes, it might fail, but you have nothing to lose at this point.

PS: As you say, you had the number for a long time. But at this point, how can you say you have it? For over two months, everyone has had to call you at a different number.

And it is also long since time to file an FCC complaint!

How can your status be any worse?!

When I read that this is going on since October it really scares me.
I would like to hear what the reason is that this has not been corrected.
Did TeleBlend give any reason why it is not fixed?

Maybe the TeleBlend rep on this forum can explain why this is going on for so long.

TBSupport1 your silence on this issue puzzles me at best and as a customer it scares me.

Do you think you could explain why sfisher10 issue is taking so long to fix?

Even if I can't get the number working again,
I'd at least like to get a proper explanation as to what happened.

I guess TBSupport1 just doesn't care.

Just in case anyone at TB cares to look into this further, the ticket number is 354864.

It also may be that he does care, but that certain things at the company are outside of his control.

If it is out TBSupport1's control I would think that they would tell us so, and it could be TBSupport1's boss forbids discussion of the issue.

Does this older thread have any relevance ... specifically the reference to CenturyTel?

I called CenturyLink several weeks ago and talked to tech support. Couldn't seem to get them to understand the nature of my problem. They tried to look up my number in thier system but got nothing, so I wasn't able to confirm that they had my number.

According to thier site, they don't service the 316 area.

How accurate is the tnid database?
