| Ping has Doubled  TDS.NET keeps changing there routing or something I have had there 3000/512 since there offered it in my town and had a fair ping to my game servers now some idiots in the main office decided to go thought New York and my pings to servers I use have doubled and the techs say they can't help which is true. I use to have a 35 to 100 at most ping to all game servers I play now they are none under 110 avg. 120 why would you make changes like this. I wish there was some other service to use I would never use them again. Comcast is sure no answer to problem. |

| Your out of saint marys ga, and your upset about your ping rate, well you need to understand that your "Game Servers" are hosted by data centers which are not going to stay in the same data center for ever. Routing might have been changed due to the server moving to another location. The only time TDS will adjust its routing is 1. TDS backbone is going under some work, or 2 a 3rd party fiber backhaul such as verizon, sprint, ect have adjusted their system to route traffic to another center such as chi town or NY. Pings under 300 are fine for gaming. |

| Anything, when i have 150+ i don't/cant play any online games.
I've tried pinging cnn, yahoo, microsoft's websites and all have really high ms. And i just pinged google w/ 119min, 167max, 140avg., 140.
It seems to go in spurts like anywhere form like 3pm-7pm it gets really bad and goes up to 300+ then about 12am-4am it quiets down. I've checked and there is no scheduled updates or downloading of any kind going on in the house while this is happening. |

| Just thought i would give an update. I called them about 3 different times and finally got a hold of someone worth while.
Turns out it was all on their end, too many people hopping on the net in my area. I don't know exactly what they did, replace their line hookup or allocated my area with more bandwidth but its working better now. |
