Re: [ TV] The new Quick Start Menu is here... I noticed it this morning too. Seems quite Nifty to me. I like the weather feature. The games are kind of useless, but my wife likes that kind of thing. I do like the Channel Mix feature. I find it works quickly. I also like the quick access to HD. It looks like the Quickstart app can be easily modified and new features can be added over time. Maybe they can even build a new IPG into this app. Lets give it a chance. |

You're joking, right? Rogers guide is absolutely brutal. Its the same crap that came out with the SA boxes 12+ year ago. Looks like ass on HDTV's, no proper search, the DVR list is crap, I could go on and on.

I don't know about completely different IPGs, but they can be upgraded. For instance, the Vidéotron IPG, while it looks a lot like Rogers, has a much better search function, where you can enter the first 3 letters of the program you are looking for. |
