I've often thought that if a large DSL/internet company would take the plunge and do this it would be a HUGE boost in goodwill that would take other companies a while to make up.
reply to icp1 If I took the modem rental off of my Comcast account I'd be paying sticker price for my internet-only service. Millenicom rolls taxes and fees on their mobile broadband plans. I'll report with what Verizon does with our new DSL service back home in TX.
