Re: Come on and get to houston Hate to say it because I live in Houston as well but I have two friends who work as on site techs for Comcast and they say that since Time Warner left the Houston market and never kept upgrading the networks Houston will likely be dead last to make it to DOCSIS 3.0. In fact I have one of the newest Arris modems from them and its status page shows DOCSIS 1.x with speedboost. So in truth, Houston has not really made it to full DOCSIS 2.0 yet.
Thank goodness Time Warner left though or we would never make it to even 2.0. |
