| prorated charges Verizon also prorates a partial month so that you don't get an exact idea of what the monthy charges are as well.. these companies know full well what the total price of service is including these fees by your zip code (billing address)-- but they do alot of things to hide that information from you. There should be a truth in billing law across cableco & telco alike since they are essentially in the SAME businesses now. The alternative to not having that information BEFORE you sign up a contract is to extend the 30-day cancellation to 60 days. As it is, Verizon doesn't even want you to have 30 days after 1/16/2010 (for fios). |
