I guess their highest rated network ratings make them feel they can charge the highest prices. But, people have choices - use another cell phone company. T-Mobile and Sprint are the cheapest post paid plans. And, of course, you can get unlimited voice & data plans from several pre-paid vendors.
I left Verizon last year. Don't like Verizon prices - do the same.
