Bascially no way to pay less than $100 a month

Verizon is going to make sure it gets at least $100 a month per customer.

Not even remotely correct. I just price a two phone share plan with 700 minutes for $69.99+tax/fee per month.

It's not the 18th yet Einstien. Anyway $70 is only $30 off $100 and you haven't yet added your fees/taxes which in my area would be $15 for the $70 package. So that's $85. Pretty close to $100 to me.

That's for two lines Cut it in half and you're back to $50/person.

Yes they do add up. I'm sure they'll invent more fees pretty soon to steal your money. Here is what they charge now.

Fed Universal Service Charge
Regulatory Charge
Administrative Charge
TN State E911 Fee
TN State Sales Tax
TN Local Sales Tax

You know the 2nd line is only $10 more. So is getting rid of ONE line subtracting $50?

No! I currently have a VZ family plan with two lines, 1400 minutes, a 15% discount discount on the primary phone, and I pay $87.51/mth including all taxes and fees. Add the 15% back in and the bill comes to $99.51/mth, but that's for two lines and 1400 minutes.

No, your original statement was $100/customer. Two customers using a $100 plan means $50/customer.

$39.99 (voice) + $9.99 (data) = $49.98 for Verizon's 450 minute plan with a multimedia phone. That's not $100 per month, buddy.

It's now the 20th. I priced a family plan with two "simple feature" (VZ currently has 16 different simple phones available on their site BTW for those concerned) phones and 700 minutes/mth....it's still the same $69.99/mth that it has been. I also priced an individual plan with a "simple" phone and 450 minutes/mth...only $39.99/mth. Looks like we're doing good with the less than $100/customer thing.
