I guess I would be that idiot. I carry a "smart" phone, for the PDA features. I use the built in wifi when I need to connect to the internet (for free) because it's available just about everywhere I go. I have no need to waste more money on a cell data plan, but I do use features on my phone beyond making phone calls.
