Somehow, someday, the Data's LED turned off. All other LED such as Power, Link and PC are turn on as usual.
I've reseted the modem a few times and do it again... but the problem still there. I had to configure dialer in order to connect to the internet.
I've called Streamyx and they sent the technicians. Unfortunately, the technicians unable to solve the problem and he gave me new modem. Also the great Riger DB102.
I reconfigure the modem and it worked nicely for a few days. Unfortunately, again the same problem occurred.
Ping result from the modem to the Streamyx's DNS failed. Ip address is 202.188.0.133

Since I'm unable to connect to the internet with PPPoE setting, I've changed it to bridge mode and using manual dialer to connect to the internet.
Data light is still OFF but I still can connect to the internet.
This is the result of the diagnostics.

Anyone here encounter the same problem. Your advice, idea how to solve this problem would be most appreciated. Thanks |
 | I've been in this predicament for couple of times. Don't change your setting or fiddle with anything, everything is fine. Streamyx @ TM just fucked you up for maybe 12hours at most or a day because of your super bandwidth usage (download or upload).
The longest I've ever been into is almost a day! Yeah streamyx blocked/throttle you like crazy but when all fails, they just shut you out completely for how long they want to.
Yup, "they" all want first world mentality to all their peoples/users but it seems they're all still stucked in 3rd world mentality themselves. Unlimited my ass... |
 | .. kindly check if your system clock is correct ... you can try disabling your antivirus and firewall .... or you can contact Riger DB102 manufacturer and try to ask for the ports used with it. ..... if it still does not work you may need to let the manufacturer to turn the error message on yur Riger DB102. |
