T-Mobile 3G Speed in Downtown NYC

I can't believe this, but today at 6:44 p.m. I was sitting on the 2nd floor at Border's Books in Penn Station. Now I am a frequent visitor to DSL reports website and forums, and am constantly monitoring the incessant discussions regarding 3G speeds over T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon's networks. However, T-Mobile being the underdog, I thought I might post some "wonderful" online speedtest results.

My hardware consists of an Acer Aspire Netbook running Windows 7/w 2 GB of RAM. My telephone is an old HTC G1 running the Android OS 1.6 update. I tether my laptop to my cell using PDAnet.

I hear a lot of you discussing HSDPA whether its running at 3.6, 7.2, or 21 mbps. I am aware of T-Mobile deploying their HSDPA+ test network in Philly. However, I do think we should shift focus to NYC. Here are my results:

For those who use an iPhone with AT&T, you might want to consider switching since you can use either a NexusOne or Nokia N900 supporting T-Mobile's AWS 3G frequencies.
