Re: [360] Kicked off xbox live when another xbox signs in.

I stated in my post that during the day my internet connection is fine. Cable connection that is suppose to deliver 15/2. During the evening hours this connection drops down to 1/2. During the day I have used the 360 many times with the other one also online and did not get kicked off. During the evening hours is when I will get kicked off Live. So I feel this has to be the connection issue since during the day it is fine. I don't see how it can be an IP problem if it works during the day. Get my drift?

Ok, so you've got cable, I assume Comcast or Time Warner for your area on a 15/2 tier, I'm on Comcast 16/2 Blast tier here. Motorola SB5100 modem w/ a Netgear router in my setup, 1 pc, 360 & ps3 all hooked up no probs. My son had his friend over recently, brought his 360, hooked it up, he was playing COD while my son was on Street Fighter, both playing on Live, worked fine.

I would say would be to your benefit to at least put in a call to the ISP about the evening prob. If you're seeing that much of a drop at that time, they definetaly need to look into it. DOC 3 upgrades goin on?, over crowded node ? , could be anything. Make sure your taking your modem stats when this drop happens as that will assist in isolated what may be going on. Nothing unusual on your network goin on at that time that may be hoggin bandswidth I presume, sooo.

Peace!

I've been talking to my cable company for weeks (Cablevision). The node is overloaded and they claim it should be fixed this week. It is happening all over the NYC area. I just have to wait it out.
