Greenville, NC | Suddenlink and Xbox Live in Greenville NC Have not done much gaming on live since I switched to suddenlink tried to get on with buddy who lives on other side of town tonight and also uses suddenlink and we can not connect. Both of us show Open NAT but all we can do is message one another. we can not get into party together or private chat. so i had him try to ping me from his PC, it times out, I set router to allow ping. we do have different gateways. I called suddenlink they are fwding issue to engineer. My Embarq DSL never had issues like this, any help would be much appreciated. |

| I'd hook both xboxs directly to the modems. That'll take away any NAT or router mis-configurations. |

It worked with me just connecting my side to the modem, so I defaulted my router settings and hooked the modem back to it and I was still able to connect so the problem is solved. |
