tipstir posted : I found my DIR-655 when clearing/breaking down boxes. So what the heck I say lets see what would happen. I was able to get that Russian firmware and flash my lousy 1.32NA down to 1.21 then back to 1.11 Ta Da! I also have slapped on 3x TP-LINK 5dBi SMA ANT which would be 15dBi instead of the 6dBi you get by default. I am was testing out different brands of high gig routers but I was wondering how would the DIR-655 A3 with 1.11 firmware do today! Sure enough using cloud-base sniffer for wireless the signal is pushing out 84% where I was only getting 74% in other brands.

Anyway you know all these BT stuff you don't have to go there you can use 4Share just google it and type in the firmware you want it yep it's there. Rapid Share is a real pain to use I hate it! 4Share is not BT just search click there is a 20 sec wait but sure beats the Rapid Share limit of downloading. I can host these files and you all can just grab them in one shot.

Some more testing and then go back to the prior test router gear. Lots of new technology today than prior years. PCI-e Gig Controller Wireless N Router is the best one today. Really quick on the ports.
