U-verse had been hitting us hard, and it looks good from a spec and price standpoint. I even signed up, but canceled before install after doing my homework. The way it works is the U-verse guys actually get the speeds the promise or a little less. Comcast over-delivers, so they are usually pretty close to what they advertise even during the very busy periods. I maintain web sites for customers and send large e-mail attachments at times, so upload matters. U-verse is slow at that. U-Verse TV bundles are good but the HD pictures are darker. (E.G. higher compression ratios = less quality) Still, with the other technology pieces, for the average joe, there is a lot to like about U-verse. However, their copper line has some limitations. DOCSIS 3.0 should break the tie in our neighborhood between Comcast and AT&T.
At least you have Uverse. I don't even have that option and I live close to Calvin College.
