I've been using a program called DU Meter. You can keep an eye on what your usage is with that.

New firmware version installed to my 9000 last night, but still no go on the Download Allowance Status, at least on my modem.

I have not received a email from Hughesnet about this feature and I am in the Beta Testing Group.If it is part of the Beta Projects or anything like that we are not allowed to talk about it.

Was this feature publicly announced?

Working here. I was under the assumption my Elite plan was 500 meg/day, looks like 625 now according to the usage meter.

That screen shot begs some questions:
- What modem and firmware rev are you on?
- What's with the "Time Until Allowance Refill"? Kinda looks like they are going to a rolling 24-hour period?
- 625MB - what plan is that?
- Does it actually work?

We've got DSL and only use the HN as a backup and we haven't used it in a while so I don't know about the 'Time Until Refill Allowance'

The Elite Plan with static IP.

Don't know if it works. I've not used the HN lately except to run some speed tests and haven't seen the graph move yet.

Interesting. I'm on the same modem/firmware revision and mine doesn't work. Guess they're rolling this out slowly.

Elite plan is 500MB, so either the status tool is buggy and wrong, showing 625MB, or they are bumping up the download limit by 25 percent. That might be a concession on their part if they are doing away with the bucket/refill model and going to a true 24-hour usage limit, which is what the 'Time Until Refill Allowance' seems to indicate.

Anybody find any mention of any of this on the HN site?

So, what would the PRO PLUS plan be at now? 531MB?

It is working on mine now to.Funny I was on the Pro plan at 300mb but it says 375mb on that page.

Glad they are listening to me when I said they should have it so you can check your usage directly from the modem.

Anyway I do not really want to risk discussing it further due to Beta agreements,I have not seen no announcements about this feature yet and am sure it is still being worked on.

Is this a 9000 only thing?
