Bittorrent

I'm starting to wonder if the media companies are just jealous that they didn't invent Bittorrent and then charge for downloads. They would have made a boatload of money!!

They do have downloads. You can download movies from Amazon, Itunes, Xbox Live and Playstation Network. Choose one. I rent movies from Amazon all the time. I've never been a buyer even going back to the days of VHS. But if I wanted to buy I could.

Hell Amazon has deals on rental and purcahes al the time. For example you can rent Star Trek or Night at the Museum 2 for $1.99. Now seriously who doesn't have $2? They also have loads of movies you can buy for $5 or less.

Amazon also has downloads direct from your TiVo and I think other devices.

As far as Bit Torrent goes, why would they even want to mess with peer to peer downloading when availability and bandwidth is not guaranteed?
