| Slow Speeds Jan 30th Well everyone its snowing, which means people are indoors...On the internet....making it hard for people like me to enjoy it

Anyway, today has been one of the worse days for Armstrong Cable from a speed perspective. Im doing repeated speedtests and returning under 1.5mb/s down. My upload speeds are actually faster than download right now.
Anyway, anyone else having the same issues? Maybe they are having issues on their end.
Any armstrong techs shed a light on it?

1 edit | Re: Slow Speeds FEB 10, 2010 Slow Speeds, its always been slow. A lot of times, I need to disconnect and reconnect because its so slow that lags most of the time. I can play some games but the lag is so intense that I really should switch for AT&T DSL. Armstrong Cable was good about 4 years ago but since so many people have gotten it. Its slower for everyone else that's been using it for years. They need to start upgrading this stuff due for the all money they are making for slow service.

Re: Slow Speeds Jan 30th Yes we have had some download speed issues in the past couple months. Of course heavy use will decrease speeds but they should not be as slow as you are saying. Have you had anyone out to check your line condition yet? |

| DodgeTech, things have gotten much better since the Jan 30th snow. During the last 2 snows, I worked from home and had no issues at all. I run a VoIP software phone over VPN to work and that worked fine as well.
Whatever it was, its fixed.
