Then if you still have $$ you could upgrade to 4gb of ram since it looks like you have 2GB now. I have a 5870 and the drivers have a serious problem with random crashing attributed to powerplay. This is my second 5870 with the same exact problem.
Anyway, yeah, your CPU is pretty beefy so you're set on the platform, RAM could use a little work. I'd get more RAM first 4GB is ideal) then video card. A 9800GTX should hold you down until the new nVidia cards come out. | | |
