Try none

They got like, what a few hundred DOCSIS 3.0 users in NY and thats it with how many billions in profits? But no no...they don't have enough money so they have to start looking into teired pricing and low caps for the un-educated masses and grandmas.

Unfortunately they report to a board room full of people that want to know why the company isn't making more money than last month.

It always has to be more. Even if you made $30 BILLION last month in profit and all your bills are paid and that $30 BILLION is in the bank and yours to do what you want with... if the next month comes around and they don't have more than $30 BILLION in profit for the month... they fire the management group and hire someone that promises they will make more money for them.

It's a vicious cycle. Because when you've already signed up all the people you possibly can reach... you have to find more ways of getting more money from them AND/or reducing your costs to a point that it will make a positive effect on your profit numbers from now on.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against them selling a product and making money. I think it's wrong when they reach a critical user base saturation point and keep trying to make more money. I know that's how things work, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.
