az1324 join:2007-06-02 Phoenix, AZ | [AZ] AZ Internet Signup PS3 Deal? Anyone know about the "Free PS3" with Cox internet signup in AZ? Read about it on another forum. Supposedly if you signup for preferred for 12 months. New customers only? Other fees? |

Great deal if you can get it! Better than the usual 25% discount for 6 months offer since PS3 is worth $300. |

I called in and they said that you have to be below preferred (1.5) to get in on the deal. If you're already preferred or above (Premier/Premier Plus/Ultimate) you can't qualify. |

 | reply to az1324 Hello,
Do you know when that code was sent out by mail? Is there anyway we can call them and get the deal without the code - for existing customers? |

The long and short of it is that Cox isn't going to honor any of this anymore, since it got blown way out of proportion. Can't believe I somehow missed out on this news when it first happened... -- "Some people never see the light till it shines thru bullet holes." -Bruce Cockburn

Well I can understand them taking action on this, because they did this to get new customers, and with them new customers agreeing to 12 month contracts, they would make most of there money back on these PS3's. Because even if they tryed to cancel after getting there PS3, they would have to pay a $300 early termination fee same cost as the PS3. |
