Unfortunately the members of the NAB are facing very tough times while at least two large members of CTIA -The Wireless Association are making huge profits. The one group has provided local broadcast news to the public for decades while the other just wants to make obscene profits so guess which one will use the public airwaves in the way that is most valuable to the public. It also doesn't take a genius to figure out that part of the reason they want all that UHF TV spectrum is to prevent ATSC M/H and TV Band Devices (both potential competitors in areas of interest and "disruptive technologies" to CTIA members) from ever becoming successful. |
