Its too late to ever see a CDMA iPhone. Verizon says they will launch LTE by the end of 2010, THIS YEAR. By the time Apple engineers, tests, debugs and then releases the CDMA phone, VZ's LTE network will be out, and Apple still has to make an LTE iphone. Plus with an LTE iphone, it might be released in some countries and then imported and unlocked into the USA on VZ's LTE network, since ATT doesn't have LTE running yet. |

Actually VZW will launch LTE in 15-20 major markets this year and then over the course of the next 2-3 years get all of their network upgraded. So it will be some time till everyone can take advantage of LTE.
It will be forever till ATT's LTE gets deployed as it is now they barely have a decent 3g presence. -- Looking to get into Avaya telco if you might be in that field hit me up I have a lot of questions. |

All VZW LTE devices will be dual mode with CDMA. The Apple "LTE" iPhone might have CDMA fallback, not GSM/HSDPA fallback
I'm sure no carrier wants to drag their users through a "next generation network" with zero fallback to the old network, ALA ATT Wireless's GSM transition. There, for the purpose of discussion, were no dual mode TDMA IS-136/GSM phones. |

I do hope Verizon rushes the LTE and really gets it out there I think they have the best chance because I know ATT is going to take forever.
I personally can't wait for an Android or Iphone LTE device that should be all kinds of badass. -- Looking to get into Avaya telco if you might be in that field hit me up I have a lot of questions. |
