Re: COD:MW2 how is it going so far? said by GTJiga:It's a fun game, just needs a lot more. There are to many variety of cheats out. You have your basic hacks which include aimbots, wallhacks, etc. Then you have your model cheats which are red/blue players. Then you get the class cheats where players unlock everything. And now we have config file cheats where players are able to get nukes out of care packages. And many more small cheats/hacks here and there. All it takes is a quick browse and a bit of reading at a certain site. Good game, just needs dedicated servers. Dedicated servers would be awesome, but it won't fix any of this crap you talked about. -- My domain - Nightfall.net |

ROFLMAO - of course it would; that's one of the point in dedicated servers: it's the server-side that controls the match. -- [BQUOTE=[user=bicker]]Waaaa waaaa waaaa. You just want what you want and don't care to factor in what is right or true. Your perspectives are un-American, and deserve far more ridicule than I'm prepared to pile on them. [/BQUOTE] |

Actually it would to a degree. You would have server administrators present to kick asshats that want to cheat. In it's current shape there is nothing to do about them. Just sit around and wait on VAC... |

Just sit around and wait on VAC... It would to a degree, thats the right answer. Just like in BF2 last night when a sniper was shooting people from all the way across the map and was 40-0, with no admins to kick his ass, I had 2 choices.
1. Keep playing. 2. Leave the game and find a new one.
I opted for 2. Same thing when I see an aimbotter on MW2. I just leave the game and find a new one.
The only true solution is to have servers that have great mature admins on them. I have only found a couple servers in the BF2 world that are like that though. I play on those as much as possible. -- My domain - Nightfall.net |

Please prove to me how dedicated servers fix aimbotting and wallhacking. Are you saying that no dedicated servers have a problem with these hacks?
Example time:
Team Fortress 2: Dedicated servers wallhack. »www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bxuccHX···=related
Take the time to research these things. -- My domain - Nightfall.net |

Ol DrippyRIP,,, FRIENDPremium join:2003-10-22 Grand Island, NE kudos:4 | Atleast when we had dedicated servers we were also able to KICK players. Also when you go to a specific server so many times you tend to know if hackers go there. For example I had a server on my favorites list for several months that had not a single hacker whenever I was on. -- I like my coffee black, just like my metal. |
