Re: Fail said by baineschile: Every person I know that has ATT complains about the network connectivity problems, across multiple states. Well now you know someone that has no problems with AT&T's network. Its me. AT&T is great here. ~5Mbps avg download speeds with speeds dropping to ~2Mbps at peak times. Still able to stream video w/o problems. Only thing I get is a drop call once in awhile but thats it.
I don't have a slingbox but now I'm thinking about it. I for one can't wait for Skype to allow calls over 3G. Tried it with the app Fring and it worked great. Should be better with the official app. -- »twitter.com/powerspec | »netisinc.com | »speedtest.kcmogaming.net Home Internet: Sprint Mobile Broadband, DSL line: AT&T 6/768 Server: 100Mbps with Cogent/Level3, Work: 750Mbps Total with AT&T and EverestKC/Surewest |

| I have no problems either, at least not in Florida -- AT&T's 3G network seems consistently robust in my neck of the woods. Never any problems. In fact, I already own a Slingbox, so now that 3G streaming is getting the greenlight I might actually buy the iPhone app.
As far as AT&T goes, my house in suburban Detroit is a completely different story -- it's a crap shoot whether you can even place a call from there. Must be a dead zone. -- "I'll follow the law until it's just stupid." -Ted Nugent |

| reply to powerspec88 I have had my iPhone for 14 months here in NYC. For most of that time my download speeds were on average 300 to 400 kbps, inconsistent, and sometimes as slow as 120 kbps.
Recently there has been an improvement. I am now seeing average speeds of 1mb, once as high as 1.2mb. That's better than a three fold improvement. It has become more stable and more consistent as well.
I used to keep the phone on wifi here at home even though I have 1mb dsl through a wifi router. Now I can actually use the 3g on the phone. It is actually faster than my dsl connection. Guess all the complaining, and bad press paid off.
