Even on Verizon, streaming video over 3G is nearly useless the majority of the time. It skips and buffers too much unless the quality is kicked down to near unwatchable.
I'm on Sprint and I've been using the WinMo version of this app for about a week(graphically it's identical). I will say that I am impressed with how smooth the streaming is now, especially in landscape(which is all you can do now, no more viewing in portrait).

Now, while I praise the smoothness of the streaming, I'm not fond of their softening of the overall picture. The previous version the picture was much sharper, albeit a bit more choppy. I also don't like the lack of options. They really dumbed down the overall app to simplistic levels. The prior version allowed you to set bit rates and other advanced options, to get the best picture/smoothness possible. Now it's High or Low and that's it.

As an FYI, I'm using it on a Sprint Touch Pro 2.
