Re: [Need Info] codec pack for Win7 x64 ffdshow was one of the many that was already included in the k-lite pack, along with MPC-HC. But the advantage it did have, was that it would add plug-in/extension support in for WMP.
When I first tried it, the thing started to stagger with some of the Top Gear eps, which strangely enough worked after I uninstalled it. But I didn't try out the 1080p Polar Special.mkv file yet... nor the 1080i regular episodes.
