| 'back when TV's were Steam Powered. I strung together a bunch of net videos tonight. Together, they made a NBC Thursday night lineup, circa 1985.
The Cosby Show - Family Ties - Cheers - Night Court - Hill Street Blues.
My 16yo had never seen any of these shows, thought they were hilarious. I hadn't seen them all in the same night, since the 1980s. The lineup was like a micro golden age o' tv.
Seems there was always one show no one liked as much as the rest. I didn't care much for Family Ties back then, my wife didn't do HSB.
Tonight, the draw was good enough to have everyone in the room, watching the same thing - without coercion.
Who'd of thunk it?
