| How?!?!? I've been with Knology for almost a decade now. I have three cable modems connected to a Linksys rv016. (I'm a photographer and need high upload speeds.) I started out with their only available package back in the day of 3m/384k, which upgraded to 6m/384k. Then they introduced the edge, so I got that, which went to 8m/784k. And the latest upgrade should get me 25m/5m.
But they can't get the 25m/5m to work even though I'm paying for it x3! I've been working with them for almost a month and every person seems to give a different reason/thing to try. A technician just left my place and he couldn't even get it to work.
Who did you talk to get these speeds? How painful/painless was it? Which modem did they give you? Arris, Motorola, or Scientific Atlanta?
I'm in Madison too, in the subdivision across from Heritage Elementary on Old Madison Pike. Is this far away from your location? |
