| this company... outright stinks. why anyone in Northern New England would turn to them for any kind of service is beyond me. god help you if that's all you can get in your area. this company has lied, cheated and other things ( »Should Fairpoint Really Be Giving Broadband Advice? ). they don't provide the services that they have promised. they take the money and run rather than putting it back into meeting their contractual agreements with the States they are the LEC for.
some telco company (AT&T) will get this area very cheaply in the very near future when Fairpoint get it taken away from them or just walks away from their losing battle.
its called customer service. Fairpoint just doesn't get it.
