| election 2010 in the Philippines! I have loved Philippines and planned to visit there often. Now, I would like to ask idea/opinion if it is safe to visit there this coming May which will be there election month.. Is it safe to go there? I have heard on the news about the Mindanao massacre.. and it made me think that it would not be safe to go their during their coming election.. Is it true? |

kudos:1 | Sure it's safe, just like any place in the world. some places should be avoided. Were are you planning to visit? I am guessing you have not visited here before? The massacre happen in a small part of Mindanao called Maguindanao
