Re: 2010 Anti Virus Poll I voted for Avira as I still use Avira personal version 8 on my XP machine. That version goes unsupported at the end of March. I'm not sure what I will be using after that. Possibly Avira 10 (I am a beta tester for it) or Avast as I really like the new GUI and it was the GUI that always kept me from using Avast in the past. I would continue to use Avira 8 on XP if Avira would continue supporting it as I don't like how ver 9 runs on XP and ver 10, I want to see the gold version before deciding if I will be using it. I do like the latest iteration of Avira 10 GUI (GUI matters a lot to me because I frequently open my AV). The updating problem for the free version has been solved so that is no longer an issue when choosing a free AV but there is still Avira's nag screen and ver 10 has some major changes.
