[AZ] New DPC3000 Firmware & Speed BoostHi All, Had a firmware update installed last night at about 1:10am on my Cisco DPC3000. From v301 to v303. (Build date is about one year newer.) According to the modem status page, the modem is now pulling in 4 downstream docsis channels instead of just one. Could this have to do with the new speed increases happening in March? What's the scoop? |

Well if your bonding 4 channels instead of one now, then that where your faster speeds have come from. But they are powerboost speeds. |

Not to thread hijack but since my firmware upgrade, my levels changed. I hope it's still within spec.

The power is alittle high, but nothing to worry about. |

Well i dunno if your on Premier or Premier+, But if your on premier, and geting 1.85mb's down on downloads, and if your premier+ and geting 2.5mb's, then your getting what your paying for. All them powerboost speeds only look nice test wise, because after the first 50mb or so of a download them speed are gone, and back to what you pay for. I can say im lucky, because are Premier tier speeds were raised recently, with up to 30mbps with powerboost, and i get 3.4mb's down constantly after powerboost. So thats around 27mbps down for me. Only thing that sucks for me now is, i am having a horrible upstream problem, that cox has to figure out whats the problem. |

Here are my signals now. It's either what I had before or this. |

Here is a screen shot of my screen how does it look to you all? |

RF looks good. My status page will not load for me, oh well. I will just wire up a SB5101 if I want the signal levels that badly. |
