| SMCWBR14-G Have had this router for some time.....works great. Got a virus and as a result I had to do a complete restore back to original condition. I am now trying to get everything re-installed and working again.....what a pain.
I have a Toshiba P205D laptop running Vista Home Premium. I tried the ez click wizard to get the wireless working....no luck. I can only connect to the internet via a cable.
I am sure it is some setting within Vista but for the life of me I can't find out what is wrong. I tried SMC support but they said the product is outdated and want to charge a fee for service. I tried my ISP but since nothing wrong with the modem or signal coming in, they too would not help.
Would appreciate any thoughts to help get me wireless again. Thanks in advance.
