For Better, For Worser

I've had AT&T, Verizon and Sprint (Data & Phone) in the last 3 years. Frankly, they've all been pretty good (in some places not-so-good); performance-wise.

Turns out that YMMV is the rule that decides what's best for the user. Sprint works out best for me.

Completely agree. I've used both AT&T and VZW with more success on AT&T's network. I only get around 600Kb down at my home (on a 3GS), but most other places it's over 1Mb.

On a few occasions I've attempted to say some decent things about AT&T on some boards, and I've been thrown out of the building, then taken out back and shot. I give up. It's best to let the "big boys" take over in writing reviews.

Re: For Better, For Worser

It varies here, in SoCal.

Early morning (before 7:30 a.m.). 2-26Mbps is typical
During the day - 1.2-1.8Mbps, some areas will get more, some much less
Evening - 500kbps - 1.2Mbps.
