Completely agree. I've used both AT&T and VZW with more success on AT&T's network. I only get around 600Kb down at my home (on a 3GS), but most other places it's over 1Mb.
Early morning (before 7:30 a.m.). 2-26Mbps is typical During the day - 1.2-1.8Mbps, some areas will get more, some much less Evening - 500kbps - 1.2Mbps.
