Service Interruption

So... I get a postcard in the mail today that reads...

"Beginning the night of Wednesday, February 24th and continuing into the early morning hours of Thursday, February 25th, Wave Broadband will be conducting a fiber-optic network upgrade. This is part of our on-going efforts to improve reliability and add enhancements that will allow us to provide you with continuous service improvements and new product offerings in the future."

I live in the Silverdale, WA area, and service has been somewhat OK after the fix they did in January. Hopefully this means they are working on their entire network.

Maybe they are going to be offering the 50mb/5mb service in your area. I'm in Concord and Wave said it's coming soon.

I live in Silverdale as well (Wellington Apts). Just got my 10MBPS hooked up last Tuesday.

My modem disconnects several times a day. I've called them 6 times in 6 days over this problem. The guy came out yesterday, tightened some wires behind the wall, replaced the modem, and I'm still getting disconnected.

Whenever I ask someone to look at the log I get something like 'nobody is doubting you have a problem'. Hey how about you just look at the damn logs or tell me why they should be payed no attention?

This is frustrating. I just switched from quest DSL and when I had disconnects from them I ended up having to figure out the problem myself and telling THEM what the issue was.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 comes out tomorrow. Yay I won't get to play it!

Thanks for letting me rant, any input would be appreciated.
