Higher population density doesn`t necessarily make it easier to install. There`s actually a middle-density sweet spot for lowest cost of installation. |

 | That's exactly what has happened around Baltimore. Most of the surrounding counties have Fios, especially in smaller towns in Harford and Baltimore counties. Engineering of course in important, but it also will come down to Verizon deploying Fios in a few areas where it's easiest/profitable, and using that as a lever to get favorable legislation or tax breaks everywhere else. |
