I lived there for a few years as well.. had a great time! I feel sorry for tourists, it isn't like disney land, it takes months (and years) to discover the best of the city and country.
Exactly. One the things I really miss are the little hole in the wall restaurants and bars (izakaya). A lot of atmosphere in those places. Sometimes they look like they were going to fall down but that gave it a lot of character.
