Bloom County | I would like to know how they would take distance into account for DSL users? Would they break out the average speeds by distance - I doubt it and they would likely list what those who were within 5,000 ft of the CO. For any ISP that has a lot of subscribers at farther distances - their average numbers will be poorer if they do not break them out.

They could list the "up to" speeds and underneath list the guarantee speeds. I believe DSL providers guarantee a speed of some sorts (very low #).
