I'm sure Comcast will lower caps to 100GB or something insane in telco under-served areas.

| reply to Gbcue Doubt it actually. Too much bad press, and Comcast has taken a monolithic approach to pricing wherever possible; aside from promotions and channel counts you can get the same package anywhere in their footprint for the same price. Things are a lot easier to administer that way. |

Like it was said before.. FUD.. and people can spread it just as much as business and politicians..
You have nothing to base your statement on. As it was said, comcast has pretty much based their pricing out on a national basis.. they set the best cap of all providers to this date. They consistently raise their speeds and offerings.. they've RARELY raised their HSI prices..
Do you have ONE shred of evidence, VALID evidence, that remotely supports your argument that they'll lower caps to 100gb? ... other than "just because...."....?
So far, of the cable operators, I think Comcast has been the better of the players over all.
When people demanded caps be defined, not only did they get them, they were the best so far. I believe TWC wanted, what, 5gb? I think Frontier Telco wanted the same.. I believe the big grand daddy AT&T wanted about 10gb + overage charges? But Comcast says 250gb and it's still not enough...
So far comcast hasn't asked for overage $ as you're implying...
I WILL state that if they do start charging for anything, it will be a metered plan but even then, I bet it will be an option along side of other "capped" plans. |
