 | thanks i use malware bytes and norton 2010 security, i am going to install superantispyware |
|
1 edit | I use NIS2010 as my main line of defense. yet I sometimes feel guilty about it. I seem to forever find it cheap on sale at boxing day here in Canada so it's become a tradition. I also use superantispyware and really recommend Malwarebytes. If you use those programs just MAKE SURE you download them from the real sites.. |

 | said by hayc59:SUPERAntispyware and Malwarebytes are the best out there right now I think SpyBot should be included in this inner-circle. I run it from UBCD and it is catching root-kits and repairing damaged Windows files/directory entries and such. All good stuff. |
|
 | Spybot was the best but realistically hasnt done anything proactive in terms of coming up with new innovation nor creativity to catch and prevent malware like the others. It has certainly passed its prime.

You are good to go if you choose to use either or both suggestions; SUPERAntispyware or Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
Both are excellent in terms of detecting current threats. |
