If the problem lies within your ISP services, no VoSPs can help, let alone Ooma that requires a hefty investment and whose existence to survive in the near future is in question. Your best option is to get a SIP complaint ATA and configure it with any BYOD to see if the call quality will be better. Along the way, make your own comparison calls between the ATA and MJ to the same many different destinations. This way, you will know your answer without a hefty investment on Ooma. At the end, if your findings default to MJ's fault and will decide to get Ooma, then you can either resale the ATA or use it with some free VoSPs, i.e. Gizmo5 (G5), CallCentric, etc. -- don't and stop are the ONLY two 4-letter words considered offensive to men, but not when used together. |
