price some one got a "great" deal from them newegg runs on very low margins
that 860 you got in the other thread at Microcenter; Microcenter is taking losses on in hopes youll buy a mobo and ram at the same time same with the 920s they sell

Because it's cheap, easy and most of the time you still get what you pay for. Ingram Micro got burned in the same way several years ago. Counterfeit/silkscreened/etc processors are nothing new in the market.
